GENERAL INSTRUCTION
This call is devoted to Students presenting their innovative research in the Flagship Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (CCECE) 2024 poster session hosted at Queen’s University, Kingston, ON. The poster session represents a forum for showcasing the state-of-the-art in a broad range of electrical and computer engineering fields that include all the themes belonging to the CCECE 2014, which are:
- Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Vision.
- Circuits, Devices, Photonics, and Power Electronics.
- Communications, Networking, and Signal Processing.
- Computer and Software Engineering and Applications.
- Control, Robotics, and Autonomous Systems.
- Power Engineering
The poster session provides an excellent opportunity for students to expose their ideas and obtain feedback on their ongoing research from knowledgeable conference attendees. While posters are welcome from everyone, the discounted rate applies only for posters in which the primary contributor (i.e., first author) is a student. Extended abstracts (2 pages) of the posters should be submitted in the Portable Document Format (PDF) only, following the same formatting instructions as for the main conference papers. Members of the Poster Session committee will review the submissions. The abstracts of accepted posters will be included in the proceedings and IEEE eXplore.
At the conference, posters must be presented by one of the co-authors. Posters submitted to this call for papers should contain unpublished, original ideas and not be abbreviations of published papers. Note that acceptance and presentation of a poster containing original ideas at CCECE 2024 will not prevent authors from publishing a more complete version of their ideas in future conferences and journals.
